In der Zeitschrift Neotropical Ichthyology ist eine neue Cynolebiasart aus Brasilien beschrieben worden.

 

Costa, W.J.E.M., Ramos, T.P.A., Alexandre, L.C. & Ramos, R.T.C. (2010): Cynolebias parnaibensis, a new seasonal killifish from the Caatinga, Parnaíba River basin, northeastern Brazil, with notes on sound producing courtship behavior (Cyprinodontiformes: Rivulidae).
